Accessibility

We're committed to making physiotherapy accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities and neurological conditions.

Last Updated: December 19, 2025

Our Commitment

Reability is committed to providing an accessible experience for all users, including those with disabilities. We recognize that many of our patients have conditions affecting mobility, vision, hearing, or cognition, and we design our services with these needs in mind.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously work to improve accessibility across our mobile app and website.

Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements are fully accessible via keyboard. Tab through the interface without a mouse.

Screen Reader Support

Our app and website are compatible with screen readers including VoiceOver, TalkBack, and NVDA.

Large Touch Targets

Buttons and interactive elements are 56x56dp (larger than standard 44x44dp) for easier interaction.

Extended Timeouts

Session timeouts are extended to 2 minutes for users who need more time to complete actions.

Accommodations for Neurological Conditions

As specialists in neurological physiotherapy, we've built specific accommodations for patients with Parkinson's, stroke, MS, and other conditions.

Tremor Accommodation

Touch gesture recognition accounts for tremor patterns common in Parkinson's and other conditions.

Simplified Navigation

Clear, predictable navigation patterns with minimal cognitive load for users with memory difficulties.

High Contrast Mode

7:1 minimum contrast ratio exceeds WCAG AA requirements for better visibility.

Audio Cues

Voice guidance for exercises and visual feedback accompanied by audio confirmation.

  • Voice Control: iOS Voice Control, Android Voice Access
  • Switch Devices: External switch access on mobile devices

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some features have current limitations:

  • AI Video Assessments: Gait analysis and form correction require clear video capture; users with significant mobility limitations may need caregiver assistance
  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded YouTube exercise videos may have varying levels of captioning
  • PDF Reports: AI assessment reports may have limited screen reader compatibility (we're working to improve this)

We are actively working to address these limitations.

Feedback and Support

We welcome your feedback on accessibility. If you encounter barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

Accessibility Feedback

Email: accessibility@reability.in

Response time: Within 5 business days

Please include details about the assistive technology you use and describe the accessibility barrier you encountered.

Caregiver Support

We recognize that many patients with neurological conditions rely on caregivers. Our platform supports:

  • Caregiver access to patient accounts (with consent)
  • Shared appointment management for family members
  • Fall risk alerts sent to designated emergency contacts
  • Simplified interfaces for caregivers managing multiple patients

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We regularly:

  • Conduct accessibility audits with external experts
  • Test with users who have disabilities
  • Train our development team on accessibility best practices
  • Update our app and website to address new requirements

Conformance Standards

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our current conformance status:

  • Website: Partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Mobile App (iOS): Partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Mobile App (Android): Partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA

"Partially conforms" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform. We are actively working toward full conformance.
